Library Staff and Volunteers
Please welcome our new library assistant, Shelly Griswold
Mrs. Griswold has been an active member of the Benchley-Weinberger community for many years, most recently serving as a past treasurer of the B-W PTA. In addition, her community involvement has included work on the Governance Board for Pershing Middle School and as executive board member for Patrick Henry's Women's Field Hockey Boosters. Her children have attended Benchley-Weinberger, Pershing Middle School, and Patrick Henry High School.

Terri Knight served as our librarian for 22 years, retiring in May 2009. She continues to volunteer for our PTA Halloween Happening and assists at school book sales and other fundraisers.
Sharon Landacre has volunteered at BW for 8 years. She served as Chairperson of the PTA-sponsored Books and Beyond program and regularly helps out at the Halloween Happening running the prize room.
Ann Green makes our circulation run smoothly, processing new and returned books into our catalog and reviewing the condition of circulating materials.
Our many other volunteers include Susanne Albright, Sheryl Wohl Chaffee, Richard Fakadej, Kristin Kaufmann, Chris Morache, Laura Lolly, Wendy Lipman-Burg, Mary Myers, Pam Nelson, Stefani Palmer, Mary Rintoul, Sharon Sfiligoi, Ah Simmons, Diane Sipe, Penny VanBaale, Esther Ybarrondo, and Michelle Zix.
